Casa in Collina Vitiano

The location of Casa in Collina is fabulous. Located in the hills above the Val di Chiana and yet close to charming villages and towns. The property offers considerable privacy and the accommodation is of a high standard. The views from the pool are wonderful and it will be hard to drag yourself away from this tranquil haven.

The house maintains all the traditional features of a Tuscan farmhouse and yet combines this with all modern features. The property is divided into two single storey buildings, the main house with 4 bedrooms and the second cottage with one superb double bedroom.

The Main House

Entry is into the large kitchen which has all mod cons. Dishwasher, oven, microwave, hobs and fridge freezer. There is a table in the centre of the room for either dining or preparing food. From the kitchen there is access to two terraces for alfresco dining. From the kitchen there is a corridor which leads to the rest of the house.

There are three large double bedrooms and one twin bedroom. The two bathrooms are at either end of the corridor. The living room has comfortable seating and above here there is a mezzanine bedroom with two additional two single beds. From the living room there is access to a terrace which has a table and chairs for two people.

The Cottage

Located about 10m from the main house this recently refurbished house is spacious and very well equipped. The is a covered terrace at the front of the house with views across the gardens and valley. Entry is into the large living room / kitchen area which is modern and comfortable. The double bedroom has lovely French windows which lead onto the terrace and gardens. There is a bathroom.

If the quality of the accommodation was not enough the pool and gardens are truly wonderful. In front of the houses grass stretches out and down to the pool. The pool area is well equipped with tables and chairs and the addition of a beach entry area to this delightful pool it will undoubtedly become the centre of your villa holiday. In one corner there is also an external Jacuzzi. Behind the main house there is a well equipped barbeque area and set in the gardens there is a gazebo for outdoor dining. This gazebo overlooks the pool and the valley beyond.

Not only are Castiglion Fiorentino, Cortona and Arezzo close by but the wonders of Siena, Florence and the many hilltop towns are a short drive away. All-in-all Casa in Collina has something for everyone and comes highly recommended.
