Casa Miranda Porto Rafael

Some of you regular Porto Rafaelites may already know this super accommodation that overlooks the village. The sensational views from the terrace spread right across the bay to the spectacular islands of Maddalena, Santa Stefano and Caprera – you really could not wish for a more splendid outlook with this ever-changing sparkling backdrop to be enjoyed throughout the day.

Surrounded by grassy lawns, fruit trees and beautiful flowering bushes, Casa Miranda ticks all the boxes for a family, friends or just a couple wishing for a wonderful relaxing holiday. The perfectly-kept enclosed gardens are great for children, the terrace is ideal for leisurely meals, sunbathing or simply gazing out to sea. The location of the property means that you can stroll down to the main square in under 5 minutes where you will find Harry’s Bar (the ideal place for a cold beer) and the little supermarket (always stocked with everything you may need). The nearest beach is just another minute or two further on – all easily reachable for big and little feet alike.

The one-level villa is accessed through a private gate – a designated parking space is just outside the entrance – and the path leads through the fragrant gardens to the front door. The entrance hall leads into the large open plan sitting room and dining area with picture windows to enable you to enjoy the view from inside as well as outside. A compact kitchen with gas hob, oven, dishwasher and fridge/freezer lead off the dining area. The bedrooms are found at the back of the property – very simply furnished in local traditional style with polished wooden furniture and light coloured fabrics, there is a double bedroom, a twin/double bedroom, large shower room with washing machine and a second brand new shower room.
