Lo Stazzo is surrounded by acres of countryside belonging to one of the larger local families in the area. It was their dream for many years to convert the grounds into an elegant country residence and finally, their dream has come true. Lo Stazzo is just one part of their dream as here you will also find 15 B&B suites, Il Pagliaio (an independent villa), a good sized shared swimming pool and a characteristic restaurant serving breakfast and dinner. The location may not be on the beach but is well placed for many of the famous stretches of coastline plus many more of the not-so-well-known beaches and bays along with easy access to many of the local towns and villages.
Lo Stazzo is as old traditional, converted farm building offering wonderful accommodation for up to 6 guests. The original wooden beams and stone walls all add to the charm of this independent house and you will love it from the moment you enter. The centrally positioned large lounge and dining area offers plenty of space to leisurely unwind and is furnished with a mix of local and antique furnishings.
Leading from one end is a real country kitchen complete with original stone fireplace, 5 gas burners, full-size oven, dishwasher and large fridge-freezer, perfect for a keen chef to whip up some great Sardinian delicacies. Leading from the other end of the lounge is a really romantic double bedroom with a 4-poster bed plus ensuite shower room, and a further small double bedroom with a charming bathroom boasting an old-fashioned freestanding tub. The third bedroom with its own bathroom is on the end of the property and accessed externally, again simply designed and furnished but with style and comfort in mind.
Going for perfection, Lo Stazzo has a great private outside area at the back of the property accessed from the lounge where you may dine, sunbathe and swim in the gorgeous private pool sunk between the rocks. Who could ask for more?
Please note: the second bedroom has a small double bed and is accessed from the inside of the master bedroom – it is great for children but not suitable for friends/couples. There is a door from this bedroom that leads out to the back terrace, so could be accessed independently.
The super restaurant is a real bonus serving both breakfast and dinner (bookable and payable locally). Should you prefer to have an evening out of the kitchen, there is a fixed menu (changed every day) or you may contemplate the à la carte menu and an extensive wine list knowing that you can simply stroll home (or around the grounds if you are feeling romantic) without even having to look at your car.
