Essential Italy

Hotel San Pantaleo has been recently completed and is a welcome addition to our website. The hotel is set in the heart  of San Pantaleo – the village is known for its wealth of artists and sculptors who exhibit their wares either in small shops around the piazza or at the weekly market on a Thursday morning. Tito, the owner, opened his restaurant many years ago and it remains one of the best known places to eat in the area – the rooms were then added so that those dinner guests who had had one glass of wine too many, had a place to rest their heads!

The 32 rooms have been simply but tastefully furnished in traditonal Sardinian stye – pastel  colours and local materials having been used throughout.  All the rooms are located  around the pool and have small balconies, most with superb mountain views, or a garden area.  All are equipped with air conditioning, telephone, TV, mini fridge and ensuite shower rooms.

The pool is inviting for a dip at any time of day and there is a shady area for those of you that may prefer to avoid the hot rays of the sun whilst enjoying your book.  A bar is open all day in the lounge/reception and the famous restaurant “Da Tito” awaits you with a mouth watering selection of tasty local dishes. Should  you take the half board option you may choose between lunch or dinner giving you the flexibility to try out some of the other venues along the coast.
