These well established apartments are located on a super little promontory along the north east coast of Sardinia and are a great base for a peaceful holiday on this beautiful island. Many of the apartments have a great view over the lush greenery and sparkling pool and across to the island of the stunning Archipelago of La Maddalena.
Set on the hillside amidst age-old juniper and olive trees, Il Mirto apartments take their name from the myrtle bush, indigenous to the island and producing the tiny black fruit that makes the delicious digestive liqueur of the same name. The 60 simply furnished terraced apartments have been recently refurbished and are all comfortably equipped with a veranda from where you may enjoy the panorama. You may choose from a studio, one bedroom or two bedroom apartment and some have a sofa bed in the lounge area to accommodate an extra person. All have one shower room, hairdryer, satellite TV, safe, air-conditioning (bedrooms only) and kitchenettes with 4 ring gas hob, microwave oven, kettle, toaster and fridge-freezer.

Il Mirto is positioned around an amazing swimming pool one of the largest in the area and with plenty of sunbeds. A few lengths here will work up an appetite and you can easily stroll over to the Hotel Capo d’Orso snack bar for a cool drink and sandwich, L’Approdo Pizzeria for a tasty pizza or Il Paguro restaurant for a super la carte lunch or dinner. A beautiful sandy beach sits below the pool, just 400 metres from the apartments, allowing you to take a dip in the crystal clear sea whenever the mood takes you or hire a sun lounger/umbrella and just admire the spectacular view.
Should you wish for a little more entertainment, boat trips, dinghy hire, pitch and put golf (9 holes) and tennis may all be booked locally. Palau, the nearest town is only 4km away and here you will find a great selection of shops, restaurants and bars plus a great marina and the ferry port for La Maddalena, the biggest island of the Archipelago.
Il Mirto is a great base for families and couples looking for a relaxing holiday in a truly superb location.

Outstanding! Ideal for a young family to be 30 metres from the beach. Great, very friendly service. Loved the information pack covering the local area - this proved to be invaluable. We had a fantastic week and will definitely go back to Il Mirto!
