The garden is carefully maintained and offers privacy and plenty of space to relax and unwind (a perfect honeymoon or anniversary venue).

All too often holiday homes do not feel like homes – this is an exception. The quality and style of furnishings is charming, from the pretty curtains, to the well designed bathrooms, to the local tiles in the kitchen, the whole house exudes history and quality.

A garden path leads to a patio area in front of the kitchen door. The kitchen is fully furnished and leads into the living area. There is a shower room downstairs which also houses a washing machine. The stairs lead up to another living area with a separate exit to outside. The master bedroom has views towards Cortona and is beautifully decorated. A further bathroom with shower is off the living room. There is another bedroom which is ideal for storage space as the owner wishes to rent only to couples. She asks guests to be considerate when using the house, as much of the furniture is antique.

The pool area is marvellous and many guests return year after year – enchanted by the peace, tranquillity and beauty of Poggio dei Mandorli.
