Nestling in the hills below Montalcino, Podere Salicutti provides the perfect hideaway from which to explore one of the most stunning areas of Europe.

Surrounded by vineyards, producing world-famous Brunello and Rosso di Montalcino, the owner has converted part of his house into one charming apartment (Brunello) and one exquisite suite (Teatro). Salicutti wines, produced using only biological methods, have made a great impact and the owner sells only via specialist outlets, throughout the world. For his guests he reserves a small quantity, offered at greatly reduced prices. He is happy to show you around his small cellar and offers tastings, strictly for his guests only. A personal service is guaranteed.

Apartment Brunello ground floor – 2 persons

Entry is into a spacious living/kitchen room with large fireplace. From here a wide corridor leads to the bedroom (double) and large shower room. The fixtures and fittings are all of a high quality – from the furniture to the pictures on the walls. This delightful apartment is made complete by a private terrace with table and chairs, shaded by a fig tree (September PYO!).

Suite Teatro first floor – 2 persons

Reached by external steps this room offers space and comfort and a stunning view! A small hallway leads to the large bedroom (double/twin) with modern fireplace. The large shower room is beautifully decorated and is reached through a door off the bedroom. As this room has no cooking facilities the owner includes breakfast, served in his kitchen.

In front of the house is a terrace with a stunning panorama, Mont Amiata in the distance. The ideal spot to soak up the sun. Numerous restaurants are close at hand – the nearest is walkable (1 km). A BBQ is available. Both accommodations have linen changed mid-week.
