This stylish family run hotel is an absolute must for those of you touring the area or looking for a really peaceful and comfortable hotel where you can recharge your batteries with no disturbances (well maybe the odd nice word to the lovely “Lucky” – the owners fabulous dog!)

Set in beautiful green surroundings, you may well pass the entrance to this litle oasis of heaven without ever realising what you have missed. With its slightly “colonial country home” feel, we know that this will be a hit with all that stay here. The warm welcome makes you feel at complete ease from the very start and the comfy lounge area with sofas, brimming bookcases and baby grand piano make a very comfortable ambience whilst perhaps enjoying a cool beer and deciding what to do next.

An intimate breakfast room overlooking the immaculately kepts lawns around the pool is the perfect setting for a scrumptious start to the day including locally made croissants and beverages served from the owners own collection of silver coffee and tea pots.

The breakfast room leads out to the gardens passing another covered but open-air lounge with plenty of sofas and armchairs – a great escape for those that prefer to get out of the midday sun. The large pool sparkles all year round inviting you to take a dip at any time of day – sunbeds are dotted around and there is plenty of shade provided by the wonderful trees should you get too warm.

The 25 ground and first floor bedrooms are all situated at a good distance back from the pool and all have patios or balconies with wicker tables and chairs. The white linen and cream coloured furnishings have been carefully chosen to blend with the local terracotta floor, beautiful wooden furniture and bamboo lined rooves. This is Mediterranean style at its very best. All rooms have prettily tiled bathrooms with shower, telephone, televisions and wi-fi is available in the lounge.

Club Hotel Nora does not have a restaurant but due to the great location, this is not a problem – there are 4 restauants within easy walking distance, the town of Pula is just 500m from the hotel with a great choice of everything you could possibly want for and the splendid sandy beach of Nora is only 1.5 km away. There are walkways and cycle tracks for the more energetic (yes, the hotel will be happy to lend you a bike!) making everything very accessible and easy.

We cannot think why anyone would not want to stay at this charming hotel which is far superior to many of the larger ones in the area. We wish you a very memorable stay!
