Masseria Marzalossa has to be one of the finest masseria to have been restored over the last few years. Originally a 17th century farm house, this wonderful building has been lovingly renovated by the family owners – their careful eye for fine detail has paid off as the home has been lavished with antiques, stylish local décor and elegant furnishings. Just strolling around the immaculate gardens is a relaxing treat and the private swimming pool is set amongst lemon groves – just heaven for an early morning dip or a lazy day with your book.

The bedrooms and suites are beautifully designed with comfort being at the top of the list – all have TV and air conditioning plus en-suite shower rooms. There is a intimate restaurant (hotel residents only) that offers a selection of Pugliese dishes with fresh produce often from the masseria’s own vegetable garden along with a carefully thought out local wine list.

As you enter the masseria, you feel instantly at home – Signor and Signora Guarini are more than hospitable hosts and will ensure that your stay is a memorable one and that you will leave feeling more rested and relaxed than you thought possible. If you are able to drag yourself away from the pool there are a host of wonderful towns to visit. Locorotondo, Alberobello, Martina Franca and Cisternino are just a short drive and the town of Ostuni, with its white washed streets and fabulous restaurants, is just 35kms along the coast. The nearest beaches are a few kilometres from the masseria.

We recommend Masseria Marzalossa as a peaceful and romantic hideaway which is well positioned to explore this fascinating area of Italy.
