Many old masseria have been converted into apartments but few to the standard of Masseria Guarino. The Italian owner has ensured that these trulli maintain many of the local features and yet has incorporated a contemporary feel and modern comforts. In addition the lovely pool makes Masseria Guarino an ideal place to relax and the location a perfect place from where to explore this fascinating area of Puglia.

The property is made up of two buildings and each apartment has its own private terrace, the ideal spot to sip a glass of fine Pugliese wine.

Apartments

La Casa del Fattore sleeps 2–4
The largest of the apartments this has an open plan kitchen / living room with two large sofas which can become two single beds. Between here and the double bedroom there is a bathroom with a large shower.

Il Trullo sleeps 2–4
Built in the original trullo this studio apartment is full of character. The kitchen / living space and double bedroom are open plan. There is a bathroom with shower. Neatly tucked behind the master bed is another twin room which makes this perfect for a family.

La Stalla sleeps 2
There is a small kitchen and a large double bedroom. Access between the two is via an external door and across the terrace. The bedroom is complete with a four poster bed. Access to the second larger terrace is from the bedroom. The bathroom with shower is between the kitchen and bedroom.

La Porcilaia sleeps 2
This apartment is in a separate building, approximately 5m from the main house. There is an open plan kitchen / living room, double bedroom and bathroom with shower. The terrace of Locorotondo is the most private and overlooks fields.

All kitchen are equipped with hobs, sink, fridge and microwave oven.

The kidney shaped pool is perfectly located to make the most of the hot Puglia sun and the rolling landscape. The location of Masseria Guarino is ideal for exploring this area. The towns of Alberobello, Cisternino, Martina Franca and Locorotondo are all within a short drive and the coast is only 20 minutes away.
