Set in an oasis of natural beauty, Masseria Chiancone Torricella is surrounded by wonderful oak forests. Dating back to 1600, the original building was constructed as a working farm and the character has been carefully preserved but lovingly modernised giving it plenty of atmosphere and charm.

Reception is situated in the main part of the Masseria along with beautifully designed lounge areas, an inviting bar and super restaurant which sits under the characteristic trulli. The restaurant is very well known in the area and boasts an inviting and mouth watering selection of local fare artistically presented (much of which is home produced). French windows lead onto an open courtyard which is the perfect setting for an aperitivo or dinner under the stars should you prefer to be outside and enjoy the glorious warm summer evenings.

The 49 classic and superior rooms with en-suite shower room are all single storey, on ground floor level (no one to disturb you with their clogs on upstairs!) and are laid out in a horseshoe pattern opening up onto a covered walkway and the well kept gardens. The light, airy and spacious rooms all are equipped with air conditioning/heating, satellite TV, telephone, minbar and hair drier and should you need to connect to the world wide web during your stay, some rooms also offer modems.

In order to keep you fit and healthy, Masseria Chiancone has a great fitness centre with gym, sauna, Turkish bath, Jacuzzi, indoor swimming pool, various massages, aromatherapy and yoga classes. The big outdoor pool with ample space for sunbathing and enjoying the tranquil setting is under construction during winter 2006 and will be ready for a dip by May 2008.
