Essential Italy

Alchimia is a wonderful restored masseria consisting of 10 exclusive apartments which all have a super designer feel to them. The Swiss owner, Caroline,  has used her great experience and fantastic flair to ensure that this accommodation is more than special and each apartment has an individual feel of its own.

Sitting majestically in the Pugliese countryside, close to the Marina di Savelletri, you know that you are arrriving somewhere a little off the beaten track as you drive up to the masseria with its imposing and impressive white walls. The building is surrounded by age-old olive trees emitting a sense of tranquility and peace before you even enter the cool apartments. In keeping with the harmony, solar energy is used throughout and recycling faclities are incorporated.

The apartments are divided up in to 7 small, medium and large studios and 3 one- bedroom apartments.  All have a small kitchenette area, ensuite bathroom (most with shower), satellite TV with DVD player, safe and an outside sitting area. Comfort and chic elegance prevail and we are convinced that you will not want to leave this little oasis of charm when the time comes!

A small “wellbeing” centre is a real bonus for those of you seeking some cossetting during your stay – massages, relaxation techniques, aromatherapy and beauty treatments are available at all times. For the more active amongst you, the beach is a short distance away, bikes may be hired from the masseria, both golf and horse riding are available locally and there is a small play area for the younger guests.

Caroline takes her work very seriously, ensuring her guests have the best stay possible, and we know that once you have discovered this little paradise, you may well wish to return again and again.
