In a spectacular position, Villa Torretta is one of the original villas of Porto Rafael and so named after its unique round shape. With a beautiful terrace overlooking the bay of Palau and across to the Archipelago of La Maddalena, it would be tempting not to set foot outside this idyllic setting and relish the ever changing sea views whilst sipping a glass of local wine (or two!). However, should supplies run low it is comforting to know that a small supermarket is but 3 minutes away on foot. Equally close one finds a quality restaurant (prices high) with one of the most sought-after views in the area plus a stunning sea level bar serving snacks and drinks throughout the day. Here one can also find a series of charming coves and sandy bays – all within a stones throw of your front door.

The villa has been recently up-dated and on ground level has a comfortable sitting/dining room opening out onto the wonderful, large terrace, a twin bedroom and cloakroom with basin and WC (an interesting feature is the outside shower hidden in the rocks that leads out from this cloakroom – may be chilly in low season) and a small separate kitchen with gas hob and fridge/freezer. The terrace is equipped with comfortable garden furniture and sun beds: please note that this terrace is not suitable for toddlers unless supervised at all times.

With an independent entrance from the terrace, there is a compact single bedroom and shower room – great for a member of the party who wishes for a little more privacy.

The staircase from the lounge area leads to the double bedroom and en-suite bathroom – the views from the bed are as good, if not better, than those from the terrace! The balcony extends round much of the villa.
