Il Pagliaio is surrounded by acres of countryside belonging to one of the larger local families of the area whose dream for many years was to convert the grounds into an elegant country residence. Finally the dream has come true and Il Pagliaio is part of this little bit of paradise where you will also find 10 B&B suites, Lo Stazzo (an independent farm house), a good sized swimming pool and a characteristic restaurant serving breakfast and dinner.

The location may not be on the beach but is well placed for many of the famous stretches of coastline plus many more of the not so well known beaches and bays. Easy access to many of the local towns and villages.

This original barn has been transformed into a stone-clad independent “villa” that is located close to the glorious swimming pool (approx. 5m). On ground level you will find a spacious and comfortable lounge and dining area, a very well equipped kitchen (gas hob, full oven, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, washing machine), a twin bedroom and a bathroom with shower. Taking the spiral staircase to the first floor, you will find 2 double bedrooms and a further bathroom with shower and hydromassage bath tub. A private patio located at the back of the house with access from the kitchen ensures that you can read your book in peace before preparing some wonderful italian dishes to enjoy under the fantastic dark blue starry sky.

The restaurant is a real bonus serving both breakfast and dinner (bookable and payable locally). Should you prefer to have an evening out of the kitchen, you may consult the fixed menu (changed every day) or contemplate the à la carte menu knowing that you can enjoy a bottle of excellent local red wine and then just stroll home (or around the grounds if you are feeling romantic!) without having to even look at your car!
