Il Pagliaio is surrounded by acres of countryside belonging to one of the larger local families in the area. It was their dream for many years to convert the grounds into an elegant country residence and finally, their dream has come true and Il Pagliaio is just one part of their dream. Here you will also find 15 B&B suites, Lo Stazzo (an independent farmhouse), a good sized swimming pool and a characteristic restaurant serving breakfast and dinner. The location may not be on the beach but is well placed for many of the famous stretches of coastline plus many more of the not-so-well-known beaches and bays plus there is easy access to many of the local towns and villages.
This converted hay barn is a stone-clad independent villa located close to the glorious swimming pool. On the ground level is a spacious and comfortable lounge and dining area, charmingly furnished with a mix of antique and local furniture, a very well equipped kitchen with gas hob, full oven, fridge-freezer, dishwasher, washing machine, and a pretty double bedroom and a bathroom with a hydromassage bathtub plus a separate shower. A small terrace located at the back of this double bedroom is the perfect place for a little relaxation, and only a stone's throw from the very tempting swimming pool.
Taking the spiral staircase to the first floor, you will find one double bedroom and one twin bedroom both beautifully furnished and a further shower room.
The restaurant is a real bonus serving both breakfast and dinner (bookable and payable locally). Should you prefer to have an evening out of the kitchen, there is a fixed menu (changed every day) or you may contemplate the á la carte menu and a great wine list knowing that you can just stroll home (or around the grounds if you are feeling romantic) without even having to look at your car.
