Essential Italy

Cinque Camini is superbly situated within the rolling Tuscan hills and is surrounded by beautifully tended gardens. The position of Cinque Camini is ideally suited to those looking for a peaceful break, with easy access to Tuscan treasures such as Certaldo (10 kms), San Gimignano (20kms) and Siena (60kms). Florence is just an hours drive and after a day shopping and sight-seeing you will return home to the welcoming pool and dinner on either the lovely loggia or in one of the many excellent local restaurants.

Ground Floor

From the wonderful loggia, which has ample seating for 12 people, entry is into a large open plan living area. This doubles as a sitting room, with an open working fireplace, and kitchen with 4 hobs, oven, dishwasher, fridge and freezer. Just off the kitchen there is the washing machine and a lovely bathroom with shower and Sauna (payable locally).

First Floor

Steps lead up from the living room to an upstairs corridor from where there are 3 double bedrooms, one of which can be turned into twins. At the far end of the corridor are two splendid bathrooms (one with Jacuzzi bath and the other with shower) and a further two double bedrooms.

The pool is positioned to make the most of the wonderful view, on a clear day the alps beyond Lucca can be seen. As well as the pool there are several shady areas in the garden in which to relax, please note that the friendly owner will pop in during the week to tend to the garden and pool. The fact that the house is on a ‘white’ road means that if you wish to walk there are excellent routes on your doorstep. Indeed an excellent walk can take in a lunch time restaurant.
