When the owners of nearby Tenuta Moriano decided to create a new property we were very excited. Casalore San Lorenzo sits high in the hills and enjoys splendid views over the glorious Tuscan landscape. The house is perched above the lovely pool and is a 500m stroll away from the tennis court at Tenuta Moriano. Each apartment has its own private terrace where one can take in the view and enjoy a glass of Chianti. Nearby Montespertoli provides local shopping and a range of local restaurants.

One bedroom (sleeps 2

Giotto and Machiavelli – on either end of the house these ground floor apartments have large terraces, kitchen/living area and double bedroom with bathroom (shower).

Two bedrooms (sleep 4) – ground floo

Boccacio, Leonardo, Michelangelo, Brunelleschi – with patios overlooking the pool these ground floor apartments have a double bedroom with en-suite bathroom (bath), twin/double room with a bathroom (shower). Also kitchen/living room.

Lorenzo and Cosimo – these two apartments are set away from the main building and are the most recent to be furnished. Both are on the ground floor and are on the same level as the pool. They comprise a large living room/kitchen, a double bedroom with en suite bathroom with shower and a twin room which has a shower room just across the hallway. Both apartments have a lovely terrace to enjoy dining alfresco.

Two bedrooms (sleep 4) – first floor

Dante and Gallileo – these two apartments are reached by external steps and each has a lovely terrace with wonderful views over the surrounding countryside. A kitchen/living room leads to a double bedroom with en suite bathroom (bath), a twin/double room and a second bathroom (shower).

Each apartment has Satellite TV, telephone (outgoing only) and wall safe. There are barbecues and a communal washing machine.

Casalore San Lorenzo is a perfect destination for couples and families alike whether to relax by the pool and/or explore this fascinating part of Tuscany. The wide range of local restaurants provides ample opportunity to savour the flavours of Tuscany and the well equipped kitchens cater for those wishing to cook themselves.
