Casa Valentina has been recently restored into a very welcoming home-from-home. On the edge of the village of Acquilea Casa Valentina is immersed in green fields and yet only 100 metres from the centre of the village where there is a bar and grocery store. Lazy hours by the pool can easily be interspersed with a wander to the bar for a coffee with the locals.

Entry is through a private gate and parking in front of the house. A beautiful covered terrace will be the venue for many meals during your stay. Upon entering the house there is an immediate feeling of care and attention to detail. All the furnishings have been chosen personally by the owners and the style is elegant. On the ground floor there is a large open plan living room and kitchen, fully equipped with dishwasher, oven, 5 hobs, and coffee machine. Both the living room and kitchen have patio doors to the terrace. Also on the ground floor there is a bathroom with shower and a bedroom with a single bed (extendable to two beds). This bedroom also has a door with access to the garden and pool.

The first floor is reached by internal stairs and on the first floor there are two double bedrooms (one with a spectacular four-poster bed) and a bathroom with a Jacuzzi bath tub. From the first floor there is also a lovely terrace with table, chairs and umbrella.

Approximately 15 metres from the house is the swimming pool (9.5 x 4.5m and 1.5m deep) which is surrounded by olive trees and fully equipped with sun loungers. The temptation will be to stay close to Casa Valentina but the glories of Lucca, Pisa and Florence will tempt you away for day trips. Lucca’s medieval walls make a lovely afternoon walk and the town has many fine restaurants to enjoy. To the west of Lucca there is the Versilia coastline with long stretches of sandy beaches and lively resorts.
