The location of Casa Giglio is superb. This property is positioned just a few kilometres (approximately 10kms) from the Renaissance home of Florence and fully immersed in typical Tuscan countryside. After a hectic day in Florence (either in the galleries or the shops) you will be ready to relax by the pool and sip a glass of wine on the terrace.

Casa Giglio is just a stones-throw from the Chianti Mountains, and the nearby motorway will take you to any of the wonders of Tuscany. The combination of location, good quality accommodation with lovely garden, leads us to believe we have found a little corner of paradise.

This semi-detached house is set in a quiet corner of the property and has its own private terrace. Entry is into a small reception room. To the left there is a living room / kitchen which has the kitchen units cleverly hidden in a cupboard. On the ground floor there is the main double bedroom and spiral stairs lead to the second spacious double / twin bedroom. On the ground floor there is the bathroom with shower.

The pool (12 x 5m, 1.5m deep) is positioned approximately 30 metres from the house and is shared with another three houses on the grounds, one of which is rented out to guests – Casa Certosa (perfect for two families travelling together, but wanting separate accommodation). It is set amongst olives and enjoys a lovely view across the hills. Your terrace is outside your front door and has table and chairs. There is also a barbeque. The gardens beyond are well kept and in summer there are orange trees in pots and flowers all year round.

Nearby there are several restaurants and it is easy to drive or take a bus into Florence. With the motorway exit just 10 minutes away the whole of Tuscany is on your doorstep.
