The location of Casa Fabri is perfect for anyone wanting to visit the attractions of Tuscany and Umbria. Situated the edge of the Chianti mountains, this famous wine region is on your doorstep and Florence is a short trip up the motorway (only 10 minutes).

Recently the owner converted one wing of a farmhouse into five well equipped apartments for holiday makers. The real highlight of these apartments is the quality of the furnishings – it is rare to find an owner willing to invest such time and money on the internal appearance of an apartment. Fabrizia, the owner, has a flair for design and has spared no expense (the bathrooms are fantastic!). The large pool (12 x 6m and 1.4–2.2m deep) serves the apartments and is positioned in the field below the main house; the gardens are well tended and enhance the feeling of peace and quiet that reigns at Casa Fabri. There is plenty of space to spread out and a gazebo offers shade for dining (barbeque available)

Apartments

Kitchens are equipped with gas hobs, oven, fridge and working surface. Each apartment has a sofa bed if needed. All bathrooms have a showers.

Il Fienile (sleeps 4, independent cottage)
Set slightly away from the main house Il Fienile has a small private garden. Kitchen/living room leads to a double room and a twin/double room with walk-in wardrobe.

La Veduta (sleeps 2, first floor)
Entry is into kitchen/living room, which has views over the pool. Bathroom and bedroom.

La Piazza (sleeps 2, first floor)
Positioned at the front of the house this apartment has a bright kitchen/living room, bathroom and lovely bedroom.

La Loggia (sleeps 4, first/second floor)
The kitchen/living room has internal stairs which lead to the second bedroom. The main bedroom is light and airy. The bathroom lies between the main bedroom and kitchen.

Il Girasole (sleeps 2, private ground floor apartment)
Tucked away from the main house this small apartment offers considerable privacy. Even though the inside space is limited there is a lovely private gazebo with views over the fields and dining table and chairs. Inside there is a living/kitchen/bedroom (comfortable sofabed) and bathroom. For a couple looking for a economic base Il Girasole is a great option.

The first floor apartments have access to a communal terrace, equipped with tables and chairs. There is a reception area, private car parking and a communal washing machine.
