Situated on the Scozilia estate, this super 4 bedroom villa offers typical Sicilian style in fabulous gardens and swimming pool. Set in immaculate gardens, it is a joy to wander the grounds and enjoy the wonderful pool and tennis court. The nearby village of Presa can be reached by foot and has a small grocery store and pizzeria (many guests rarely get any further, Villa Scozilia really is a little corner of paradise). Compared with touristy Taormina and Giardini Naxos, the small villages of the slopes of Mount Etna have a genuine Sicilian feel.
Entry to this large house is into a sumptuous living room. The kitchen is well-equipped with a dishwasher, oven, hobs and fridge-freezer. There are 3 double bedrooms and 1 bedroom which can be made up as a twin or as a double bed, this one is reached by internal stairs from the kitchen and is open plan. There is a delightful outdoor terrace which is ideal for al-fresco dining and will be the centre for your evening meals at home. There are 2 large bathrooms with both shower and bath.
Not only is the quality of Casa Taormina excellent but the grounds of Villa Scozilia are immaculate and the large swimming pool, which is shared with 3 other properties is a real delight. There are splendid views over the surrounding countryside and as far as Taormina and the coastline below. For the active members of your party, there’s also a tennis court.
If you do decide to venture out, there’s plenty to see and do. Drive to the top of Mount Etna and explore this amazing volcano. Drop down to the coastline and have a day on the beach, nip into Taormina and marvel at the Greek amphitheatre. However, we believe that Casa Scozilia is so comfortable and the grounds so inviting that most of your time will be spent at ‘home’ with a good book and a glass of wine.

A luxury villa in a beautiful, lush setting. Very clean and gardens immaculate. Fully equipped and to a high standard. A beautiful oasis on the side of the mountain. Peaceful and rural retreat. However, it was a little too far from the coast to just ‘pop down’ for an ice cream. Really needed to be a day trip. Little shop and pizzeria in Pressa were great to have close by.
