Essential Italy

Immersed in the green rolling hills of Umbria, Borgo Bianchini offers a great place to relax and at the same time a perfect base to explore the jewels of Umbria. Perugia, Assisi, Todi, Spoleto, Montefalco are all within an easy drive. The ‘picture postcard’ view from the pool and the breakfast room takes in Todi and is spectacular.

Every apartment has its own character and design but the quality of the furnishings is consistently high. Each apartment has been named after a great writer, reflecting the owner’s passion for literature. All apartments have a television and bathrooms with shower (unless otherwise stated).

One bedroom (sleeps 2)

Cervantes – ground floor – living/dining room with fireplace, open plan kitchen, double bedroom with bathroom. Views from the apartment are over the green fields behind the Borgo and being on the end of the building a certain amount of privacy is assured.

Pessoa – first floor – open plan living/kitchen with fireplace, double bedroom and bathroom.

Balzac – ground floor – open plan kitchen/living room with fireplace, double bedroom with bathroom. A charming apartment with a small garden in front (faces onto the gardens of the next door apartment).

Two Bedrooms (sleeps 3)

Proust – ground floor – garden and narrow terrace. Open plan living/kitchen with fireplace. Up a few steps there is a single bedroom with a shower room. First floor – there is a double bedroom with bathroom.

Calvino – ground floor – open plan living/kitchen with fireplace. There is a double bedroom and a single bedroom sharing a bathroom with a bath.

Dickens – first floor – open plan living/kitchen with fireplace, on the ground floor there is a double bedroom and a single bedroom. There are two bathrooms both with a bath and a shower.

Tolstoy – first floor – open plan living/kitchen with a double and a single bedroom and a bathroom.

Two Bedrooms (sleeps 4)

Borges – ground floor with a loggia and garden in front. Open plan living/kitchen with fireplace, one double bedroom and one double/twin, two bathrooms each with a bath and a shower.

Flaubert – ground floor – kitchen with access to a garden area outside, first floor – living room with fireplace, second floor double bedroom and bedroom with two singles, two bathrooms.

Dostoevsky – ground floor – access is from a garden area into an open plan living/kitchen. First floor – there is a double bedroom and a bedroom with two singles, two bathrooms.

Borgo Bianchini is ideal for both couples and families alike. The atmosphere is relaxed and friendly and we feel it offers a great base from where to explore and also a comfortable, relaxing home-from-home.
