Borgo Antico was opened in 2003 and it is easy to see why it is has been so successful. Tastefully designed, using only local materials that have been ecologically tested, the hotel is built around the swimming pool where there is a small hydro-massage area and plenty of sunbathing space. The breakfast room overlooks the pool and offers a good buffet every morning which should set you up for a day of either relaxing or exploring.
The hotel sits at the back of the small village of San Pantaleo, famous for being the home to many local artists, sculpturers and artisans. You can easily stroll down into the main square for an ‘aperitivo’ or to one of the restaurants/pizzerias for some good local fare.
The double rooms are comfortably furnished in the local style and are all equipped with balcony or terrace, air conditioning, satellite television, safe, minibar and shower room with hairdrier. Reception is readily available to help you plan any outings or assist with local information including various excursions and umbrella/deckchair hire on one of the beautiful sandy beaches nearby.
