Late sun in Sardinia

September finished rather poorly weather-wise here in Sardinia with grey skies and a dramatic drop in temperature. However, October is making up for it in grand style; the northern part of Sardinia has taken on an almost springlike appearance. Walking along one of the numerous coastal paths this morning with my dog Lucy, I got some great photos of the spectacular sea and rocks.
Holidaying at this time of the year is a risk but when the weather is like this it cannot be beaten if you are looking for a quiet time and some very good food and wine to top up on after a day of exploring the wonderful scenery and natural beauty on offer. I would not change being here in the quieter months for anything!
