This private house is set in wonderful grounds and the restoration carried out in 1997 by the charming owners is of high quality. Positioned on the edge of the Chianti region, Il Giardino del Belvedere is just a few kilometres from the charming villages of Radda, Gaiole and Cavriglia. It is also a 10 minute drive from the main A1 motorway which carries you to Florence (30mins) and Arezzo (20mins).

Immersed in its own park, the house enjoys complete privacy and even has its own open air theatre where at times in the summer months there are music and artistic performances.

The house consists of a large ground floor where there is a large dining room and living room with open fireplace. There are two fully equipped kitchens on the ground floor which both lead onto the garden. Also on the ground floor there is are two double bedrooms (one with a third bed in), a bathroom with a bath and a small under-stair toilet.

Internal stairs lead to the first floor. All the rooms lead off a lovely sitting room. There are 3 double bedrooms with ensuite bathrooms (two baths and one shower) and two twin/double bedrooms. One of these twins shares an ensuite bathroom with one of the doubles, the other twin/double has an ensuite bathroom with a shower. From one of the double rooms there is a steep staircase which leads to the attic (where a grown-up child could sleep). From all the bedrooms there are views over the garden and surrounding countryside.

Large windows let light stream into the house and the natural materials used in the renovation are repeated outside. The pool (6 x 12m – 1.2m deep) is about 20 metres from the house and enjoys views of the garden and Pratomagno in the distance. Next to the pool is a dining table which will undoubtedly play host to many evening meals late into the night. There is a splendid BBQ is also close at hand.

The house is available to smaller parties of either 10 or even 4 people. If booked by a smaller group, one half of the house is closed.

Il Giardino del Belvedere is a natural oasis of calm and tranquillity. The location of the house is perfect for exploring the whole of Tuscany and yet when you arrive home after a days sightseeing you will relax fully in the peace and privacy of this lovely house.
