Hotel Villa D'Armiento Sant' Agnello

Villa dei Armiento is an impressive 18th century villa that has been recently restored and renovated in to a charming boutique hotel – just perfect for a chic short or long stay on this stunning stretch of coastline. Spectacular gardens surround the villa, the inviting sea is just 50 metres away, the little town of Sant’Agnello is practically on the doorstep and the centre of bustling Sorrento just a couple of kilometres away making the location spot on for pretty much everything.

The Villa has always been the home to the Armiento family and the wonderful Liberty Style is evident throughout with a great collection of paintings, beautiful light fittings from Murano, a complete collection of terracotta vases complimented by the gorgeous floor that is made up from special tiles originating from Vietri.

Elegance and spaciousness prevail in Villa dei Armiento and you will feel like a house guest from the moment you enter through the gates. The ground floor has various lounge areas all with views out across the Mediterranean gardens – sofas and armchairs abound from where you may enjoy the view or contemplate the amazing chandeliers that are dotted around!

Breakfast may be served inside the villa or out in the gardens depending on the weather elements – a great selection of fresh local ingredients with some delicious local bread ensure that you start the day all’italiano.

The 7 rooms are spread out on the first and second floors – a mixture of superior, deluxe and junior suites are all beautifully furnished with comfort in mind. The Terrace Room is on the top floor and surrounded by a super terrace affording stunning views. All rooms have king size beds, LCD television, safe, mini-bar, en-suite shower or bathroom, air conditioning and hair drier - Villa dei Armiento also prides itself on its fine linen making the beds that little bit more inviting!

The gardens are carefully tended and there is a wonderful selection of flowering bushes, palm trees, lime and lemon trees, cacti and scented herbs to enjoy. The lovely pool has a backdrop of age old palm trees that have been lovingly tended over the years. Fountains and quiet corners are there to be explored and you may well find that you are happy just sitting and enjoying the scenery with some local wine, a good book and some excellent company!
